As a class we would like to pay tribute to those classmates who have passed away too early. If you know of a classmate that has passed please send their name to;
Patti Hanssen via text to
920-883-8976.
Come see the improvements to Old East High School as it has transitioned into a Middle School.
The tour will take place on Saturday, September 14th starting promptly at 11am
and will last approximately an hour.
Please be on time.
The tour will be led by the ever popular teacher Mike Miernicki. We will meet at the Front
Fourth St drop off door and gather in the lobby.
This tour is a lot of walking with stairs, people with walking issues may not want to attend. Although there is an elevator for chairs.
Please signup so we can get an idea of how many Classmates to expect for the Tour.
Looking for a great way to spend the afternoon before the Saturday night festivities? The owners of the Pike Lake Golf and Beach Club have graciously offered the use of the club dock as a staging point for pontoon boat rides on Pike Lake.
Rob and Beth (Peterson) Carpenter, Dave Wicker, and John Goldfine (class of 73) will have pontoon boats available for 30-minute rides between 1 PM and 3:30 PM Saturday afternoon. A classmate will be on shore to welcome and direct attendees to the boarding dock. Feel free to grab a bite and /or your favorite beverage at the club and join us for a fun cruise on the lake that many might remember visiting in our youth!
The Golf and Beach club is located at 4895 Midway Rd in Duluth, a few minutes past Miller Hill Mall. Boats will have all the necessary life jackets, just wear comfortable shoes.
Of course, as you would guess, this will be weather dependent. There is no cost for the pontoon boat rides.
